- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I paid well over $200 to have my taxes done...only to get a letter from the state saying they didn't receive all the necessary paperwork to process my homestead credit. The employee at H&R Block told me I'd be getting over $400 back from State, when I only got $166! I think H&R Block should refund my tax preparation fee. I'm a single mom with two kids and didn't get hardly anything back, especially compared to previous years, when I only had one child. I'm EXTREMELY dissatisfied in the "service" provided to me. To make things worse, I never got a phone call offering any kind of explanation from anyone at H&R Block!By Jessica Fiedler, March 18, 2017
